If you’ve ever said the words, “I was in the most amazing condo/townhouse/single family home I’ve ever been in Chicago.” Then there’s no doubt you were in Bucktown. Sure, just like any long standing TV show, Bucktown has figured out what the people want and is reproducing it en masse: gray brick condo buildings, open concept kitchen, quartz countertops, and a soaking tub for mommy after a long half-day of working a part-time job she has just to get out of the house. An entire neighborhood that seemingly is dedicated to settled-down hipsters who have a ton of money, these former Wicker Park residents now push their strollers over to Irazu to shove an Snickers shake down their kids throats as they ponder what life is like for anyone who has ever had to struggle.
