WELCOME TO Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park offers the quintessential neighborhood feel because of its tree-lined streets.  Stately or ostentatious multimillion-dollar single-family homes across from vintage apartments are the norm. Give those hard-working Instacart guys and gals a break and head over to Whole Foods, Mariano’s, or Trader Joes. All within 5 minutes of everywhere.

Luxury apartments at Elevate Lincoln Park or Lincoln Commons, but don’t forget about the hundreds of condos for rent and sale in old and new high rises, mid-rises, and walk-ups. If Uber is taking too long, hit the CTA because there is easy access to the brown, red, and purple lines. Getting downtown takes ~15 minutes. Same with the highway.

Work up an appetite at the nation’s largest free zoo so you can head to Armitage and grab a bite at Chicago Bagel Authority (CBA), or if you feel like a once in a lifetime dining experience, Alinea. Don’t forget to check out the boutiques! Play some pool and drink a real beer at one of the first craft beer bars in Chicago at Marquee Lounge. Home to DePaul University, so avoid Lincoln and Halsted any night of the week after 11.

The neighborhood starts at North avenue and ends at Diversey from South to North. It ranges from Lake Michigan to the Chicago River going east to west. GRAFFT HQ is situated on Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Commons. That’s our office in the picture!

Cards Against Humanity’s Andy Kushnir’s take on the neighborhood:

Was college the best years of your life? Is your favorite meal some sort of chicken wrap? Do you have a membership to Core Power or regularly go to barre class? If you answered yes to one or more of these then you’re going to feel right at home in your overpriced Lincoln Park brick townhouse. Be aware that when you move to Lincoln Park you are legally required to join a slow-pitch softball team and a beach volleyball team, oh and don’t forget about kickball on Tuesday nights and of course Saturday morning Whirlyball, all of which expect you to grab drinks afterward at Bird’s Nest (first pitcher’s on Smitty!). Spend your weekends out on the boat you split five-ways with all your fraternity brothers at Diversey harbor and sit in seething resentment as your friendship slowly tears apart once you all come to realize that you have invested in a money pit.
